Shouts to Brian Fukushima of Bentcomics, who took some time out yesterday to chat about the tentative state of Canadian online comics. Bentcomics features frequently updated indie comics from a handful of talented British Columbia natives. Who knew the University of Victoria could breed such a nest of artistic hooligans?

"This adorable character Hello Kitty adds charm to any kitchen. This 3-piece white and blue set comes with a 4-cup automatic coffee maker, a waffle maker that makes four waffles in the shapes of the characters, and a two-slice toaster that toasts in the shape of Hello Kitty. All three appliances are made by Sanyo." [link>jos]

Read the startling facts! Did you know that ninety-five percent of Americans live within two miles of a cemetery or mortuary? And did you know that one hundred percent of Canada is as boring as a cemetary or mortuary? It's all here-- read now, for the sake of your delicious brain!

“America’s Army” blog paints pretty picture:

Wired posted a creepy story today about a weblog written by a guy named "Scorpion" (oooooh) who is stationed in Afghanistan. Seems this blog is merely an exercise in PR, being produced by the US Army on the heels of their "America's Army" game. I'm against using videogames as a recruitment tactic because, as any veteran can tell you, war isn't any fun at all.

In the world's biggest waste of time on record, scientists revealed the world's "funniest" joke. You could hop over and read it, but why bother. It's so *not* funny.
