All hail Jennstarr. All wail in celebratory song. Sushi Bistro Karaoke Room hijinx. I made sure I only had two drinks. Tried to weasel out of singing "Sweet Child of Mine", had to promise to appear on Other Words tomorrow morning. Jos will be teching the show.

  • I got a run-through of the new Final Fantasy VIII game out for Playstation. Too much digital booty. Wicked graphics, they squeezed every fucking ounce out of those 2MB.

  • Blah blah Visor blah blah. Uses the PalmOS, looks better, probably works better, and is cheaper. I'm always on the tails of technology, having just bought a PalmIIIx last year. I even have a little keyboard to use with it.

  • QUOTE OF THE DAY- actually the quote of last night. It's about my friend Rui, who, according to Ryan is "the only person we know who can speak in ITALICS." And it's true. You have to hear him. He can speak in Fonts as well, although there is not much difference between his Arial and his Helvetica.

Woah, I checked out, and boy is there some cool illustration going on there. Check out the draggable animals on the main page. Some great stuff in the gallery. Lots of personal anicdotes, I stayed away from those.

If you want to see what the new Playstation looks like, go here. In my opinion, the case design is inappropriately retro. Not techno. Retro. It's boxy, but not simple enough. It's got these ugly little coloured plastic bits- I guess they're buttons or something. The logo looks like something from an art-rock album cover from 1978. Blech. With all the new plastics and stuff out there, don't you think they could've come up with something better?

Woah. A lot of peoples came out for my birthday bash. Thanks to everyone who showed up, and even those who wanted to but didn't :) I managed to remain mostly coherent, although not nearly as charming or witty as I would have hoped. Maybe next year.

  • If you thought those mice with human ears growing outta their backs were strange, check this out. Hey it's Friday. Eat me.

  • Went to go see Nice Cat. I missed half their set, but what I saw was awesome. Not only are they 100% rawkin', they are sassy as fuck.

  • It's my goddamn birthday, and I just turned 30. Shit! Thanks to everyone who said I don't look my age. I'm certainly trying not to act it.

General Mills launched their "Millenios" cereal today.
    Dick Clark did the unveiling.

  • Right near Dick's head you can see "9-9-99". My birthday marks the beginning of the end of intelligent marketing decisions. So sayeth I.

I'm pretty sure all of the glaring mistakes in my site have been finished. My project for this Sunday will be to revive the HTML version so Flash-impaired peeps have something to look at.

Just realized that the Flash 3 Player will *sort of* run the site. There are problems with Flash 3, obviously. Also just discovered my Gallery directory seems to be corrupt. One image in particular is causing crashes. It's the first one in "ZAP".

Added a Links section to Who Da Man. Two paths from there. One to my shorter links page, one to my longer one. I actually dumped all my bookmarks from Netscape as a file, then tweaked it a bit. Some huge-ass files.
