Country Style Says “LOL”
"lol" says the Country Style coffee cup. But why? Is it part of a marketing campaign targeting people who are conversant in chatspeak, 1337, or gamerspeak? From what I gather, there's some sort of contest involved. If you don't win, a Country Style coffee cup apparently mocks your misfortune with a terse "lol." How about a hot cup of STFU, Country Style?

Good one Tony! Hope someone gives you a blow job for that one. You earned it!

What a non-sequitur, Uri. Is that some blogger's inside joke, or is it merely a glimpse of your online persona?

I just assumed Uri was posting from the Herald yacht's shipboard supercomputer, under the effects of his fifth bottle of Cristal.

In other strangeness, one of the few Lindens ever to leave comments on this blog was motivated to do so by the phrase "blow job." Film at eleven.

Seriously Andrew, you should spend more time web surfing and less time doing whatever you do at Linden Lab besides hate on people that aren't even in your air space. Then maybe you would know a compliment when you see one. Just to show you I have no hard feelings though, let me pour you a big hot cup of STFU.

Yeah, I eventually figured it out later that day, and realized Uri's comment was a genuine wish of good fortune. No hate coming from me Uri, I was confused because I was unaware of your current measure of reward for good online journalism. Tony, may you get all you deserve.
